Contractual information and guidance on managing our funding, for Cancer Grand Challenges teams and their host institutions.

Key documents

When receiving Cancer Grand Challenges funding, all investigators and institutions participating in a team are required to sign up to a Cancer Grand Challenges Award Agreement, also signed by the research funders: Cancer Research UK and the National Cancer Institute (NCI).

The Award Agreement incorporates the terms outlined in the Award Management and Funding Policy Guide, Commercialisation Policy and National Cancer Institute Other Transaction Award Policy Guide. You can access all of these documents on this page, as well as the Cancer Research UK Allowable Costs Guidance.

Each funded institution will also be subject to specific terms detailed in their Notice of Award and Grant Award Letter. All contractual documents may be updated from time to time, and the most up-to-date versions will be posted here.
