About

The French National Cancer Institute (INCa) is a public health and scientific expertise agency created by France's public health law of 2004. It leads the national drive to reduce the number of cancers and their impact in France.

To do this, the Institute brings together and coordinates those involved in the fight against cancer in the areas of prevention, screening, care, research and innovation.

Carrying an integrated vision of the health, medical, scientific, social and economic dimensions linked to cancer pathologies, it puts its action at the service of all fellow citizens: patients, relatives, caregivers, users of the health system, general population, health professionals, researchers and decision-makers. The Institute ensures the implementation of the ten-year strategy to combat cancer 2021-2030.
